Industry-Wide Designations and Internal Certifications
The Retirement Learning Center supports industry-wide designations through our relationships with PLANSPONSOR, the UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education and the Retirement Income Industry Association (RIIA). We also offer internal certification programs to firms seeking to nurture excellence within their organizations.
PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional Industry Designation
The Retirement Learning Center supports the PLANSPONSOR Retirement Professional (PRP) industry designation through PLANSPONSOR Institute, the education arm of PLANSPONSOR. The PRP has become the industry benchmark for measuring retirement sales and service expertise. By earning the PRP designation, retirement professionals not only demonstrate their commitment to the industry, but enjoy the benefits of an exclusive, ongoing support network through PLANSPONSOR.
To earn and maintain the PRP designation, a candidate must complete the initial coursework and pass a final examination. Ongoing, the PRP must submit continuing education credits annually. In addition, the candidate must demonstrate an acceptable level of professional experience and business character.
